The Blog Hop that's hosted over at Crazy for Books.

Today's question over there is:

"How do you spread the word about your blog?
(e.g. Social Networking sites, Book Blog Directories, comments on other blogs...)"

I twitter, I have a Good Reads account, I have a LibraryThing account, and I visit other blogs and make comments.  I used to blog a lot, but then I fell off the face of the earth and am just starting up again with a new bloggy address that mixes my love of cooking, reading, and genealogy all at one home.  I've made great friends through blogging and hope to continue to do so!

Don't forget to enter my contest while you're here.  Julie Lessman is a Christian author who was a wonderful series out called The Daughters of Boston.  She also has just started a new series called Winds of Change.  I am giving away the first book of the Daughters series.  More info here.

Hey you!

I'm already a follower of yours but I wanted to stop by and say HI! I participate in the blog hop and follow friday for my YA book blog and it's certainly helped me gain followers. So woo hoo for you!

Big Hugs,
Rowena

Hello there! Yes, I got your Book Scoop feed on my reader, so I followed suit - with a few exceptions, about the only things here are me and the crickets (ha ha!)

I found you via FF. I'm a new follower!

I really don't know that much about spreading the word on my blog. I simply hope to write good things.

I'm not for sure if I have read any books by Julie Lessman or Karen Witemeyer.

found you through the hop, great site! my old blog was cooking and books, but the one I started over the summer is mostly jsut books. I network through friday blog hop, commenting on anything and everything that looks interesting, book blogs ning, and twitter is looking more and more interesting.

i try to post something on my blog every day, and i'm not always successful. funny thing is that the less time I seem to spend on a post, the more comments it gets! go figure!

Glad to have found you via the Hop and FF. I'm your newest Follower!

I love that ou combine genealogy and reading on your blog. My mom is BIG into family history. She's one of those roam-the-cemetery-in-her-spare-time types. Looks like you've got the same "bug"!

Have a wonderful weekend!

readerbuzz: Thanks for stopping by! I swung by your blog and am now a follower also :-)

Billy: I highly recommend them. Karen is a new author. I've read both of her books so far and really enjoy her. Julie? I'm a tad obsessed. The woman can't write fast enough as far as I'm concerned.

Red: I decided to combine everything so I could simplify my life - and hopefully not fall off the face of the earth for my online friends.

Rebecca: Thank you! So far, it's been great to be back.

Susan: Thanks so much for stopping by. Yes, I've been bitten by the bug. I also am one that wanders through the cemetery - I volunteer to take photos for folks from out of the area.

Thanks for stopping by and becoming a follower. I'm already one of yours.

I love to read James Rollins books. They are a mix of Indiana Jones and Dan Brown rolled into one. He is a fiction writer but with alot of details based on fact.

Great blog with a lot of really great posts! I definitely will be back.
